This page is divided into two parts:- Left Side: Profile Card (your banner, profile picture, username, role, and status)
- Right Side: Forms (Profile Details, Password Change, 2FA + Recovery Codes)
1) Left Side: Profile Card#
Profile Banner + Profile Picture#
At the top, your banner image is displayed, and below it your profile picture.Your username is displayed in bold, and below it a badge shows your role (for example: tester, manager, seller).The card shows the following details:- Status: Active / Expired etc. (with color indicators)
- Expires: When your plan will expire
- Email: Your email is displayed in a blurred / secure format
Below the profile card there is a small tip box that provides security advice such as using strong passwords and enabling HWID locks.
2) Right Side: Profile Details#
A) Profile Image URL Update#
Here you will find an input field:- Profile Image URL (https://...)
- Update button
Action: Enter a new image URL and click Update.Result: Your profile picture will be updated, and after the page reloads the new image will appear.
B) Banner Image URL Update#
This works in the same way:- Banner Image URL input
- Update button
Action: Enter the URL and click Update.Result: Your banner will be updated.
C) Username Change (OTP Verification)#
Changing the username is secured — the username cannot be changed without OTP verification.Step 1: Enter New Username#
Enter the new username in the Username field and click Update.Result: The system sends an OTP to your email and an OTP input box appears below.Enter the 6-digit code in the OTP box and click Verify.- If the OTP is correct → the username is updated
- If the OTP is incorrect → an error message appears
- After success, the page reloads and the new username is displayed
Note: The Update button temporarily becomes Resend OTP to prevent spam requests.
D) Email Change (OTP Verification)#
OTP verification is also required to change your email.Enter your new email in the email field and click Update.- An OTP is sent
- An inline OTP box appears below
- An “OTP Sent” toast notification appears
Enter the 6-digit code in the OTP field and click Verify.- If OTP is correct → Email is successfully updated
- A success toast appears
- The page reloads to reflect the updated email
- If OTP is incorrect → an error message appears
3) Security: Change Password#
In this section you can change your password.- Enter your Current Password
- Enter a New Password
- Enter Confirm New Password
- Click the Change Password button
- If the current password is correct and confirmation matches → password will be updated
- If incorrect or mismatched → an error message or toast will appear
4) Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)#
2FA adds an extra security layer to your account.
This means that during login, after entering your password, an additional verification step will be required.A badge appears in the header:- Enabled (if 2FA is active)
- Disabled (if 2FA is off)
A) 2FA Enable Flow (When Disabled)#
When 2FA is disabled, you will see two options:- Authenticator App (apps like Google Authenticator)
- Email OTP
Option 1: Authenticator App#
Action: Click the Authenticator App button.- A setup section opens
- A QR code appears
- Instructions appear: “Open the app → scan the QR code → enter the 6-digit code”
Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app in the Verification Code field and click Enable 2FA.- 2FA becomes enabled
- The badge changes to “Enabled”
- Setup buttons disappear
- The Recovery Codes section becomes visible
Action: Click the Email OTP button.- The system sends an OTP to your email
- You see an “OTP Sent” message
Enter the OTP and click Enable 2FA.Result: 2FA becomes enabled, the badge updates, and the Recovery Codes section appears.
If 2FA is enabled, a green alert box will appear:- “2FA is currently active.”
- A Disable button
Action: Click Disable → confirmation appears.- After confirmation, 2FA is disabled
- A toast appears: “2FA Disabled Successfully”
- The page reloads
Recovery codes are useful when:- You lose your phone
- You cannot access your authenticator app
These codes act as backup keys that allow you to recover your account.If 2FA is enabled, a “Recovery Codes” section will appear with a button:Action: Click View Codes.- A list of recovery codes is displayed
- A warning message appears: “SAVE THESE CODES IN A SAFE PLACE”
Result: All codes are copied to your clipboard and a toast notification appears.Action: Click Download txt.Result: A file named authvaultix-recovery-codes.txt will be downloaded containing your recovery codes.When you generate new codes, a confirmation appears.Result: New recovery codes are generated and the old ones stop working.
Throughout this page, toast notifications appear after actions such as:- OTP Sent
- Email Updated Successfully
- Username Updated
- Password Changed
- 2FA Enabled / Disabled
- Errors (invalid OTP, connection failed, etc.)
